40 things I’ve learned as a 5-year breast cancer survivor 💜

Hi Reader,

Five years ago, I had no idea what recovery after breast cancer would really look like.

Not just the physical side — but the emotional weight, the mental shifts, and the everyday realities that come with survivorship.

Reaching my 5-year cancerversary brings mixed emotions for me — gratitude alongside the quiet uncertainty that can still linger.

Over the past five years, I’ve learned a lot. Some lessons came through rehab and movement.

Others came through fear, frustration, growth, and slowly rebuilding trust in my body again.

I just shared a new video where I talk through 40 things I’ve learned as a breast cancer survivor — the things no one really prepares you for, both during recovery and long after treatment ends.

If you’re early in this journey, further along, or somewhere in between, I hope this video helps you feel a little less alone.

There are so many aspects of breast cancer that go beyond the medical...
